Alpha Co.,2/327th. Looking for th guys were on Perimiter guard at Eagle when 3 122mm rockets hit the Cobra pads behind our bunker. One Cobra sprayed its rockets at us and one hit our bunker dead center. Someone took a picture. Would love to find a copy. No Slack
I was attached to CO. A 2/327 in Aug 1971 as the Artillery Forward Observer. I held that job until the 327th stood down in April 1972. Prior to that I was the FO for CO. D 1/11 Inf. with the 5th Mech. Also spent '67 - '68 with the 25th Infantry Division. The photos are from the time I was assigned to the 101st.
