This “HISTORY of the 101st Airborne Division” was the authorized publication of the 101st Airborne Division. It was published for the benefit of new replacements coming into the Division.

This pamphlet is designed to be issued to all newly assigned personnel. It chronicles briefly, the Division’s accomplishments from its activation to August 1, 1968.

This pamphlet should instill into each individual replacement the Esprit de Corps that exists in all Screaming Eagles.
