When you select a link (such as 1st Brigade in Vietnam and this is a HUGE file) and it opens (eventually) as a pdf file in your browser, look on your toolbar next to the printer icon for, “Show/Hide Navigation Pane”. Click on that icon and you will see “Bookmarks” on the left side of your screen. By clicking on any one of the bookmarks, you will go directly to that area of interest.
All of these PDF’s will open in a new window which will keep your Eagle’s site open in your browser.
1st Brigade in Vietnam
(very large file will take over a minute even on cable)
A special thanks to our brother Jim Foster (HHC-2/327 1965 – 1966) for providing us with the history of our, Rendezvous With Destiny.
Check out “The Vietnam Chronicles: The Abrams Tapes,” transcribed and edited by Lewis Sorley and published by the Texas Tech U press (917 pages, $50.00). This covers 1968-1972, when Creighton Abrams was in command. it consists primarily of recently declassified transcriptions of the weekly intelligence uppdates at US HQ in Saugon – officially, at MACV, and the dominant figure is Abrams.
